A Glimmer of Hope?

Hearing and reading the ludicrous stories I talked about yesterday made me seriously question our future and wonder whether we should all just jump off a bridge. I consider myself to be neither an optimist nor a pessimist but I do try to be a realist. I believe in cyclical existence and that the wheel keeps turning. My father summed it up simply - "what comes around, goes around". Hopefully we can influence some things to go and others to come, more quickly.

There are probably many messages to be found in this picture but for some reason it gives me just a tiny little bit of hope.

Happy Friday and have a great weekend!

  2. Hi Cindy, thanks for dropping in. I don't know, I think SpongeBob is happy and can have a good time where ever he is. Maybe there's a lesson there.

  4. I think he's the son of the Giant Spaghetti Monster born as man, er, sponge, on Earth.

  5. Having a 7 and 9 year old, I have seen every single episode and I think you are right, he probably is having a great time! :)
Oh, about the towel situation, just write it on your hand "Do not forget the towel", trust me on this. It is the wrong way to start off the morning! hehe

  7. Whenever I watch SB I feel like I should be smoking a joint. Unfortunately, my grandkids are never holding.

  9. Cindy, my youngest is nine so I've seen most of them. I know all the words to the theme song. ARE YOU READY KIDS?!!

No Col. SB can't die. He is eternal.

Mike, almost. A great way to end the week was by going out on a Friday night with three other adult couples (which my wife and I don't get to do very often), having a few beers, eating dinner and laughing my ass off. That's what we did last night.

HM, These kids today! I always kinda feel like that's what SB is doing right before the director yells action.

Sara Sue, talk about pessimistic. Personally I prefer to believe she has a pack of Starburst, her favorite Barbie and a Hello Kitty notebook in there.
