A New Blog and a Worthy Cause

I recently stumbled on a new blog and blogger (new to me) and thought I'd share. Her name is Janiece Murphy and the blog is Hot Chicks Dig Smart Men. Janiece is a veteran of the US Navy living in Colorado and she uses foul language. As she says in her bio "That's right - I've got the F-Bomb, and I'm not afraid to use it". You like her already don't you? Her blog is where I discovered (and stole) the biblical morals quiz.

Janiece has some recurring features on her blog with titles like: 'Tard of the Week, Conversations With Karma, What the Fuck is Wrong With These People?, and When Hillbillies Attack. You like her even more now doncha? The worthy cause I made mention of in the title is posted under her Well Behaved Women Rarely Make History section. Janiece clued me in to an organization called Jewish World Watch and specifically a woman named Rachel Andres who is the director of JWW's solar cooker project. Please follow the link to get the details but I'll summarize it by saying that through very simple and creative means, a Jewish woman is working to save the lives of Muslim women in Darfur. Could we please get the half of the population with dangly bits to sit down and take a break and let the women run things for a while? Please?

Thank you Rachael Andres and thank you Janiece.

Ok, I am jealous. With the exeception of your hot wife, you don't go cheating on your already well established blogging bitches.

I have a hot date tonight myself. Will report later. Try visiting!

Hi Kitty. Thanks for taking it so well and being understanding. I should've known better than to just spring another woman blogger on MI without easing into it. How've ya been?

MI calm down. Honest, nothing happened. I haven't so much as left a comment for her. I just read her blog, it didn't mean anything. I swear. You know how I feel about you.
I wouldn't have gone off looking at other women's blogs if you hadn't put up barriers between us - become so...difficult to approach. I feel like I, I don't know, like I need permission to see you. It's so hard to read you. What happened to us?!

I'm smart, I will have to check her out.

It's not you baby, its some other idiots in my real life who have discriminated against me for being a (and I quote this) tree hugger. or "one of them." So I created a front door to point your rss feed to know when I have an update.
just point your rss feed read there and it will just direct you to my blog as you are on the IN list my dear.

Mal, good luck with that brother.

MI, I know. Just yankin'. Fuck'em and the horse they rode in on. And think how happy those trees are after they've been hugged by skyclad little ole you.

Hi, Bruce! I've just come to your blog via one of the world's great and venerable menopausal stoners ;-D

I'm linking! I'm going to check out the fabulous wordplay at Janiece's blog now ... Oh, and of course I will quiz myself on my Biblical morals, or lack thereof.

I'm actually in the process of considering the Ten Commandments as they might apply to cats. Of course, "cat" and "command" are a contradiction in terms, but what fun to ponder. The first commandment, I've decided, is:

"Thou shalt not covet thy Mommy's bling."

Hi Bruce. Thanks for the shout out, and for pimping the Solar Cooker Project.

You don't need to be shy about commenting, BTW.

We don't bite. Much.
