Matt and Sarah and Jimmy and...Ben?

By now a lot of you may have already seen this (or at least heard about it). I just saw these videos for the first time last night and they are the funniest things I've seen in a long time. Jimmy Kimmel (late night talk show host and former co-host of "The Man Show") is dating Sarah Silverman (actress, or is that actor nowadays?). I don't stay up long enough to watch Kimmel but apparently he does a thing every night at the end of the show where as a joke he says he's out of time and he has to "bump" guest Matt Damon. Back in January Silverman surprised Kimmel on his show with this music video.

As the old Klingon proverb says, revenge is a dish best served cold. Kimmel waited and plotted. And recruited help. Lots of it. Then, on his show after the Oscars the other night, he struck. He unveiled a video of his own.

I love it when someone has the ability to laugh at themselves. I especially love to see big stars show that they don't take themselves too seriously. The turnout on Kimmel's video was priceless. Josh Groban? I never would've imagined. Oh the practical jokes you can play when you have a great sense of humor...and a big budget and great production resources. A lot of people should be thankful I'm not wealthy and/or famous.

Even if you've already seen these they're worth seeing again. Enjoy. Oh, you may want to turn the sound down at work.

You bastard! I just broke a rib laughing! And I wanna *bleep* Matt Damon too! (Whatever *bleep* is, is sounds good and I wanna try it.)

I'm so happy to hear that I made you laugh instead of ranting and terrorizing your neighborhood with a reign (or is it rain? hmmm) of destruction. I will go out on a limb and guess that a lot of women want to *bleep* Matt Damon.

Perhaps those clicking 'play' might like to turn the volume down if their kids are around too? :-O It's a good job I can hit that mute button faster than the speed of light ;-)

I'm weird ... I don't find Matt Damon at all attractive. *blush*

I love Sarah Silverman, and the intial video, but Kimmel outdid her with this one!

Oh Kitty I'm so sorry! I thought the work comment sufficed, didn't think about the kiddies. Oops.

Mal, I know she has her own show on Comedy Central, I think, but I've never watched it. I know she was in School of Rock with Jack Black bu tI don't think I've seen her in anything else. She's funny, I'll have to check her out. Not like Jimmy and Matt have but, you know.
Yeah, Kimmel won that one. I read they even filmed part of the video in the same studio where they filmed "We Are the World".

I thought I was the only one *bleeping* Sarah Silverman and now I find out I have all this competition.

Great video. I used to love "Girls on Trampolines" on "The Man Show."

I'm glad you liked them Prepo.

Happy to hear that you weren't *bleeping* Ben Affleck.

Kat, always happy to hear that I started somebody's day on a good note. Thanks.

HM, how've you been? Funny you mention "Girls on Trampolines". That very segment on that very show inspired a great scene on one of my wife's books. The hero first sees the heroine when she bouncing on a trampoline when she thinks nobodys watching. Actually there's more action on the trampoline later with both of them but I don't want to spoil the story.

Welcome Christine, thanks for stopping in. Not work friendly, ah who cares? Humor makes work a much better place. Glad you enjoyed it.

Hey Crash. How've you been? I read an article online that talked about that very thing. Once he got Affleck onboard and word spread it happened very quickly. Harrison Ford jumped at the chance. They said there were a lot of people that found out too late and were disappointed.

I went on a total bitch rant today, and then made myself happy after I figured out how to put a music player on my page too. I even drew a picture of myself...I think the likeness is pretty damn close.
Hope you are having a good weekend...we are just camping out today and tomorrow for the next two weekends are rat races.

Too funny! I finally got to watch Jimmy & Ben's video today. What fun the celebs with money can have...I can't believe all the people that Jimmy got to be in the video.

Hi guys. Sorry I haven't been around much. I'm dealing with car issues. New post coming.
Welcome Liza. Thanks for wondering over from Plotmonkeys and dropping in.
