Happy Autumnal Equinox

I cannot believe that it is Fall already. I can't say I was having fun all Summer but time certainly flew because I was busy. My Summer was pretty much non-existent. Here's hoping things slow down a bit (a lot, a HUGE amount!) and we can enjoy the nice fall weather in this area. The temperature has been dropping a little at a time and in the evenings you can feel the beginnings of that crisp air. That can only mean one thing...I better get to work on Halloween!

Beautiful colours in those trees - did you take that photo?

No, Kitty. I swiped it from the Internet. Maybe I'll be able to get a few good ones of my own when the leaves starte to change around here.

Yeah, went by too fast, saw my first red leaves in my yard this weekend.

We dont get those beautiful colours over here. We had a lot of English trees in New Zealand, & they turned wonderful colours in Autumn.

The Summer Solstice depresses me a little as days get shorter, the Autumnal Equinox depresses me more as the days get shorter than the nights. I wonder if I should flip flop between hemispheres so that it's all about the Winter Solstice and the Vernal Equinox?

Happy Fall! (To lazy to type out the whole thing. It's the thought that counts right?)

Glad to see you are around. This is my favorite time of the year. One cause it is fall, two...my birthday, which is a national holiday. Checks are fine, cash is better....fruit baskets are acceptable as long as they have chocolate with them. :)

I know, I'm bad.

I was getting really tired of the heat. Enjoy the weather! I know I will.

Love the pic and wish we had fall here in Florida. Okay, we sort of do, the weather drops from the high 90's to low 90's - high 80's.

I'd love to see the leaves change color, even if it would mean the raking was soon to come. :)
