Indy's Back!

I'm excited. Indiana Jones IV is coming out in May and they just released the trailer yesterday. It's lookin' good. The first one was amazing, the second one sucked, and the third one was back to amazing. Let's hope that's not a pattern and that it doesn't suffer from the every other sequel sucking syndrome.

For those of you that haven't seen the trailer...here it is.

Have a great weekend!

Awesome! I have always been an Indiana Jones fan, the good the bad and the ugly. (Of course us female folk and I guess some of the men folk find Harrison Ford to be one tasty looking treat.)

Hopefully they will have done this next movie some justice. They waited long enough!

Hats off to Harrison Ford for being 157 years old and still being able to pull it off. I hope it is as good as it looks.

MI, our household lost some respect for old Harrison after he left his wife of forever and hooked up with that anorexic Ally McBeal chick. Still, Indy's awesome.

Mike, it looks like they're addressing him being older by playing the character as older. There are some funny lines in the trailer that address that.

Mal, believe it or not I'm pretty sure that's Cate Blanchett. I know she's in it. Also I read somewhere that this movie takes place in the 1950's and the new villians are the Russians. So naturally as soon as I saw her in the trailer the first thing I thought of was Natasha from Rocki & Bullwinkle. "So, Dr. Jones, where are Moose and Squirrel?"

Sure TM, you can quit anytime you want. You've done it a hundred times. With or without, it should be a good one.

If there are handsome men in it, I'll watch it. *blush*

And in answer to your question of yesterday, yes, Valentines Day is big business here too. Needless to say, not in my household though :-( x

What Kitty, a sexy Russian chick (to paraphrase Mal) isn't good enough?
As far as Valentine's Day goes. Awwww. Here, this rose is for you, albeit a little late.

Whats with old guys doing more movies of their young days?

Oh well.

I'll still see this and Rambo, and probably enjoy both.

Well, you know Mike, 50 is the new 40.

And 40 is the new 30...right? Say I'm right!

I do loves me some Harrison Ford.

Can't wait. I even liked the second one.

Biscuit, when you're right, you're right.

HM, the second one had its moments but it lacked something. It went over the top on some things like the dinner scene with the monkey brains and snakes. I think it was the Geroge Lucas influence where one scene with weird aliens in a cantina worked well in Star Wars so let's fill up the whole movie with them next time. It ended up detracting from the simplicity and purity of the story. Plus that kid in IJ2 REALLY annoyed me and Kate Capshaw's character was no Marion.

LOL, when I read the title to the post I thought you were talking about car racing. :)

I can't wait to see this movie. I loved the others, yes the second not as much, but still...once an Indy girl, always an Indy girl.

You now, it is not good to keep a lady waiting...now if we could only find a real lady around here.
Even worse to keep a wench with gift in hand waiting. We carry basilard swords and battle axes, occasionally we will sport a double ball battle mace and dungeon shackles for the really stubborn ones who keep us waiting. :)
Living with three incredibally strong women, you should already know this!

Hello Bruce,
I am an Indiana Jones fan also. This is beyond exciting. I actually stopped by to see what you were all about since Malicious Intent gave you kudos for your blog. She is right. You do have a nice blog. Love the visuals. :o)

Yeah, #1 and #3 were the best. #2 ma have been distracted by Speilberg deciding to have his wife co-star.

Oh my word. I go away computerless for one night and all hell breaks loose. I forgot to leave that "Gone Fishin'" sign in the window.
MI, I'm on my way!!!
